Yea, definitely not 1970. It appears Weir is playing his Ibanez "Cowboy Fancy" guitar which, IIRC, appeared in the late 70's.

The presence of Brent kind of rules out '73. And Phil appears to be playing the J-Bass without pickguard; that would be '81, IIRC.

I never noticed the J-bass before. That must have been just before he tried the G&L L-1000 .

Yep. Irwin '79, Jazz '81, G&L '82. It was his second Jazz; played one between the stolen Guild & the Godfather-to-be. Or it might have been the same one de'guarded & sanded down.

Glad you guys liked it. :) I think it's cool the way it was written more in the present, since it was written in 73 when it was happening, rather than a retrospective from today.
