Hello Mica. I found this one in Japan. I have seen a few of these over there before. I was offered a really good deal on this one, and brought it back to the US. Just Maple and Ebony, so no CITES problems, Yeah!! Has a light feel, and comfortable to play, with the great Alembic sound. Thanks!!

The engraved truss rod cover was something we did for our importer at the time. I'm a little concerned about the crack near the output jack - check the inside to see if it is just in the finish or if it's in the wood too.

Just an FYI.
Bought this bass from Joe (tx196059) & as he advised me, it actually has a 32" scale.
I unpacked it & played it until my fingers could play no more!

Welcome to the camp Paul!
Your other bass(es) aren't gonna be happy! There is nothing like an Alembic (as your tired but very happy fingers already know).
