Howdy Alembic Club Sisters and Brothers,
I have a feeling I am going to regret this but here goes. :'( I am considering selling my precious and in perfect mint/new condition 2014 2013 Myrtle Standard Omega Series 1. It has never been played out, stays in it's case in the home studio. http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=22135.0 (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=22135.0)
It is also the Myrtle Series I displayed on the Alembic Series 1 medium scale examples section product page: http://www.alembic.com/prod/seriesi.html (http://www.alembic.com/prod/seriesi.html) The nut is a very comfy 1.5" and the 24th fret is 2.59" (approx).
- 32" Scale
- Original Alembic strings, tuned E, A, D, G
- G & G hard-shell case
- DS-5 per supply & Cable
- Chrome hardware
- Red side LEDs
- Matching wooden Myrtle backplates
- Mahogany Core
And is also surprisingly light.
$8500.00 Continental US only
Please PM me if seriously interested

This is still available. I am looking to fund a new build from the lovely Wickersham family and need to make room for it.
-
Bump, this is still available, amazingly enough
-
Beautiful bass!
-
It is! Immaculate and even better in person. It could be yours RV? Be great to see it go to someone I know here.
-
Bump. PM if serious and can optimally pick up locally in the NJ/NY area.
-
Hi Brian,
Just noticed you directed a comment towards me last month. Awesome bass, but unfortunately I'm at my limit right now.

Hi Rob, Thanks and hope all is well!
Best, Brian

Bump, this bass was on hold/reserve for a super cool fellow Alembic Club member. Instead he purchased one of my (non-Series) Alembics I didn't plan on selling. Lol..
The price for the 2013 Series I is now 7500.00. Local pickup in NJ preferred but not firm.
-
This bass is also featured on the Series I product page of the Alembic site.
Below is a sound sample video from YouTube.

8500... after 7900... after 8900.... what is the TRUE price ? maybe we will be have a discussion if you open the deal to Europe...
-
Hi Pierre, I know, here's the quick story: I initially had it listed for 8500.00. I lowered it for a moment to 7900.00 to sell it before I travelled overseas. It didn't sell quickly in time before I left. Once I returned home I put it back on the market and increased the price to 8900.00. I was at the time looking to get back most of what I paid and was in no rush.
I now lowered it to $7500 (True price) as I need the cash. Optimally I am hoping it will go to someone I know of from the Club. I never shipped anything overseas to Europe but may very well entertain.
Best to you. And if you wish feel free to pm me.
