Title: So here She is 30 Years Later

So after some Flits polish, Alembic Polish, Fretboard conditioning, and pick up screws (Thanks Greg) and some TLC.....
Here is my new, old, go to bass...

And a Thanks to Mica and Aunt Mary and my new friends on the forum for being so great with all my questions!
I'm hoping to visit the Factory one day and meet everybody in person...Hopefully Place An Order!!!!

Thanks Guys... I love it..Crazy as it sounds, I have 15 other basses...all brands to say the least... This is my First Alembic and will not be my last.. I just cant believe the build quality.....And I have been doing this over 45 years....Even managed a music store here in New York that carried Alembic...Never noticed them... Probably because at that time I couldn't even think of affording one..lol

Looks, and I'm sure sounds fantastic Steve.  8)

Glad I had those old pickup screws squirrelled away... they finally found a perfect fit.  :D

Good to have some company here on the Persuader Showcase thread too... that looks like a figured Bubinga top... don't see a lot of those.

Great looking bass and please let us know what you think once  you start gigging with it. I'm assuming you have just got it and not had it in the closet for 30 years. :-)

First gig will be April 1st.... Will report back... BTW. The only thing in my closet for 30 years is my purple Nehru jacket and that's never coming out again...lol

Well... The first gig was moved to last night April 19th...
Where have I been all these years?????
The Sustain, The power and sound of the electronics, the build quality, and lastly the smile on my face and the other musicians around me....
Not one of my other production basses even come close...
Dear God... Thank you for making this Alembic fall into my lap....
