it looks like the Serial # on this one is "78 111". I would think 111 would be earlier than 1978?

Looks like the last digit wasn't struck quite as deep. Is it a 6 or an 8 maybe?
Brother elwoodblue has Series guitar #78-1100, so the sequence seems about right for a 1978 model... #111 would place it in late-1974 I think. Cool guitar!

Did someone say the magic number 1100 ?? I was deep in sleep and a bird came to me in a dream... ;D
I'm thinking the last digit was blurred by the seller...note the blurry patch at the seam on the treble wing.

This Guitar are in my archives as "78' 111x".
Last digit on wood joint is editted.
In fact, this guitar spec is not earlyer version like SN 100 era.

That was me elwoodblue... same little birdie woke me up at 2 am tweeting something about a vintage Alembic... guess he must have flew out your way after leaving me wide awake. ;D
