Hi Mica, I got this Essence 6, "00 K 12399" last summer. The finish looks new, and wondered if it was sent back to the mothership at some point. Thanks!

Very nice - I've got its twin in a 5 string. I wouldn't be surprised if those fret markers were added later on.

There's no note of the bass ever coming back here. I have to agree with Steve that the dots look like an add-on. I didn't state it above, but the fingerboard was blank when we made the bass.
