Title: Twinax Cable
Post by: rv_bass on January 23, 2017, 05:19:16 PM
This is an off the wall question, but I thought with all the techies around here maybe someone would have an answer.  Does anyone know a good supplier for Twinax cable (Belden 9207, 100 ohm)?  I only need a couple hundred feet of it and everyone I contacted so far either doesn't carry it or has a 1000-ft minimum order.  Thanks!

Looks like Newark sells 100 / 500 or 1000ft reels:

Mouser too:

Jimmy,

Thanks for taking the time to look into this and reply.  I was not aware of Newark, but I will check them out and keep them for future reference.  I had come across Mouser after I posted the message here, but they were out of smaller spools (just 1000 ft and up right now).  I ended up buying some from Mostek, who I found had odd spool length that fit what I needed.
Thanks again.

Rob

I sometimes hit ebay or Gearslutz if I need random cable. You can get leftovers from big installs for pretty cheap.
