Mica,  if I remember correctly,  when I checked a few years back
the build card was MIA.  Would it be possible to recheck when you get a chance?
Thanks...

Still MIA.

BUT

I did find a Rolodex card (remember those?!) with the original owner's contact details, and a mention that the bass was medium scale. It was originally sold to Rhode Island Music and the original owner was from RI. It's not much, but still a tad more than we knew before.

Thanks, Mica.
And, yes, I do remember the Rolodex.  I do know some of the back story.  I found it back at R.I. Music  after the
original owner had been in an accident and had injured his left shoulder.  He had to switch to keys because of the injury.
I was able to get her for pretty good discount.  The original paperwork was not in the case.  Tony at R.I. Music
must have been one of your earlier dealers.  He was a ledgend in his time here,  a bit of a Leo Fender type,  he
did not play an instument, but, it was in his hands you wanted your axe.
Maybe there is a chance things will turn up on your end one day,  keep me in mind as you go through all
the old papers in the shop.  Thanks,  again
