Title: Merry Christmas and Cheers to the Entire Alembic Staff !!!
Post by: bassmanbct on December 24, 2016, 07:46:57 AM: I just want to thank the Wickersham family and staff at Alembic for your dedication to building the finest basses on the planet! Your commitment to excellence shines through in everything you do!

Through the persuasion of some friends (Trevor Lindsey and Robert Kramer), I entered the Alembic world just last year... so I'm a newbie. Sure, I watched Clarke, Entwistle and other greats play Alembics, but I've always considered them over-priced and believed other basses were just as good for a lot less money. Alas, I was wrong... so wrong! Having played Fender, Fodera, Tobias and a billion other basses over the years, I've never seen or played anything like my Alembic. When set-up properly... in terms of beauty, artistry, tone, feel, and playability... it's a game-changer - especially in a live setting!

So, as a 51-year old bass player, I now admit... it took me 37 years of playing basses to see the light! Don't ever lower your standards, even if it comes at a price... Alembics are worth every penny!

You all have made OUR dreams come true, that we get to make these crazy tools to help make the world a better place through music. Our whole staff is enjoying the day off today.
