Title: Bay Area Boxing Day Mini-Gathering Anyone?
Post by: lbpesq on December 20, 2016, 09:26:51 PM: Anyone up for a Boxing Day mini-gathering? Fellow club member Johnp will be in town and I thought it might be a good opportunity to do some jamming, hang out, and talk Alembic. Just think, this will be the last Pre-Trump Alembic Gathering in history! I'm thinking Monday afternoon at around 3:00 maybe?

It was a lot of fun! I turned out to be the only bassist, I hadn't played in over a month and I think we played almost 4 hours!

I played my Custom Further, Woody, and Johnp played my flame koa strat body/modulus blackknife neck with Alembic Strat pickup set with added Q, and Harry played a Stanley Clarke, I believe. Only the drums kept us from having an all-Alembic review! I'm still castigating myself for not recording.
