Title: Phil Jones Bass
Post by: alembic76407 on December 18, 2016, 09:24:50 AM
I was looking at the PJB G4, then this G8 popped up the DFW trader board so I drove to Dallas and picked it up, I so glad that I got the G8 (4 ohm Cab), I played it the last 2 night and I still can't find the words to explain my happiness with speaker box. I hit it with 700 watts from my B1000, no problem keeping up with my Guitar players Marshall. now I'm ready for a second G8 for that WALL OF 5s, 16 - 5" Piranha's (a super mini SVT if you will ).

Can't say enough about the quality of PJB products. I use the 8T/16B combo with a Yamaha Amp; 2 F1-X units, and an SF-2. This unit sounds great with all of my Alembic basses especially the Series I.  It's  just as good playing at lower levels with my Rob Allen Fretless. Crystal clear sound.

I used to have an 8T/16B combo and have found nothing that sounds that good. However, I now play gigs where my amp is in one hand and my bass is in the other. I got a PJB SuperFlightcase - best decision ever!

PJB stuff isn't cheap, but it's the best I've found, no matter what the size format.

Can't say enough good things about PJB and the people who work there.  I've got an 8T/16B configuration that I run through two F1-Xs and Yamaha power amps The power is great and the sound so clean.  In certain ways they are similar to the good people at Alembic.  Whenever I've had a problem and there have only been a few, they are incredibly responsive.
