Title: Rare keenly priced Classico for sale in the UK

Just spotted this for sale based in the UK and whilst I know nothing about their used prices, this one seems like a bargain at £3500
If I could play DB that would be mine. :-)

Jazzyvee ,

                Very nice. Once you get your hands on  and spend some alone time with this instrument  I suspect that it is just a matter of time that you will indeed be playing it on your own solo . Then playing along with recordings and then inviting others to play with you . Just like any other instrument as we gain our confidence with it . Why not ? ;) AM I a bad influence ?

Not a bad influence at all IMO. It's always fun to spend other peoples money.  ;) I say go for it.

Yes Wolf you are a bad influence, but with a good heart so that's no bad thing. As it happens I have contacted the seller and he is giving up bass playing and selling off all his basses and gear so he can focus on guitar so I did suggest that I might be willing to offer my Orion guitar in some kind of trade deal but not heard anything back yet. Thing is i bought a double bass about 3 years back and have not found time to spend learning that. I'm curious but it's not a must have.

And if I am not mistaken then that is the 6 string Europa style series II bass that the owner wants to sell too.
I wonder what all the knobs do on the classico. I thought they just had 3.

Just got an email back from the seller and it has been sold. I'd  like to think I helped that process by posting it here and on the facebook pages. Someone has a bargain i think.

My guess is one set of controls for the magnetic pickup and another for piezio pickups.

I know who has bought it and I'm pretty confident the buyer will show it on the site in the not too distant future. :-)
I think I should be charging finders, sellers and advice fees with the amount of emails I have had over the years asking for help with all matters alembic.  ::) ;D :D ;) :-\
