Beautiful! :)

Wow!
-
I love it!

No information as to scale. I could definitely see myself going after this one if it's a medium scale instrument.

The seller is a club member. Hopefully he'll chime in here.

Waouw... that's a beautiful bass. Some months ago I was looking for such a baby to replace or complement my six strings (Gorgeous "Marylin", well known from club members)... being now in US for professional trip... it could push me in the back ;) . But today, I'm really more focussed to look for a 4 strings short scale series... so confortable and actually better to suit my reasonable musician skills and easier than those "a lot of strings" babies (17mm strings spacing... isn't it hard for slapping?).
I wish you the best for the sale

Yep, that's my bass! It's the first Alembic I ever bought, so emotionally it's a hard one to part with. But to, to me, no matter how much I love a bass once I stop playing it regularly it's time to give somebody else a chance to do so. This bass sounds amazing, but I very much prefer the ergonomics of my Europa or Balance K body basses (especially live), so it needs to find a new owner who will play it more than I do. If nobody wants it, I am happy to keep it :)

This is a beautiful bass, in great condition, and offered at a reasonable price. It would be already be heading to Minnesota if it was medium scale. Unfortunately, one's arms don't continue to grow longer as one ages, so I'll need to continue looking.
