Hi Matt,
Gorgeous bass - is this a short scale bass?
Where are you shipping from/to?
Thanks and cheers,
Oliver

And after years of looking for Coco bolo series bass a beauty appears. Sadly I can't take advantage of this one having broken my alembic budget for this decade In this past year. I hope you find a buyer. Love this one to bits.

Love the bass.  Just for my own edification, this appears to be more of a small body Series I (II?) rather than a Stanley Clarke with signature electronics.  Which does raise a question - other than the electronics, is a small body the same as a Stanley Clarke body?

Where are you shipping from?

It is a Series II small body. Small body basses are frequently referred to as a Stanley Clarke bass since it is the body shape he is known for.

Besides the electronics there are differences between the Stanley Clarke Signature basses and Series instruments in the number of body laminates and thickness.

As far as the small body shape goes it has changed over the years. The Stanley Clarke Signature page gives a decent overview of the body shapes. I'm partial to the 1974 Brown Bass body which is what I, needless to say, have on my BB and also had done on my Series I. The current body shape is more rounded on the bottom.
