Hi Guys,
just wanting to let you know that my former bass, the Dragon Wing, nicknamed Tears for John, is now up for auction at Heritage Auctions.
I had sold that bass some years ago to famous German bass player Uli Salm of The band Rudolf Rock.
He has put part of his huge collection into auction.

Without job since March, already had two operations this

Otherwise: all ok.
Hope all Is ok with you!

Hi!
Lovely bass! How does this bass operate without power supply? Do the batteries last very little? Usually those pickups work with a power supply... What electronics does the bass have? Signature? Anniversary?
What's the core on the bass? Mahoganny or walnut?
Really a nice bass!

I would suspect it's basically anniversary with a master volume control added which is the reason it is a battery only bass. The middle pickup is likely to be a dummy humcanceller to make the bass look similar to a series bass but the pickups would be AXY or fat boys or combination. This seems to be confirmed by the arrangement of the backplates which think would be main electronics cavity, battery cavity, LED battery cavity and the last one for the selector switch and master volume. But hopefully Senmen will confirm.
Lovely bass though and so cool to boot.

Guys,
sorry for my late reply.
Just moved again, still without job and again health issues this year and no band currently.
The bass had Standard 20th Anny electronics and the hum cancelled was only optical, a dummy.
The bass was in the meantime auctioned for around 3,5K and the buyer had put it up on EBay shortly thereafter for about 9k
