Yay! Just in time for the Shakedown Street Festival (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=22177.0), beautiful and sizeable embroidered patches are here! I couldn't wait to share, and I will have them in our online store later today (might be very much later). I'll post a link and a coupon of course. They measure 4.75 x 5.5 inches. I'm getting warmed up for some more cool Alembic swag items in the near future.

"Like" button pressed repeatedly. ;D
-
That patch looks great! Can't wait to see what else is in store.
-
Wow they look seriously cool. Even better if they can be posted overseas in a regular envelope. ;-)
-
Definitely getting one of those. And a black tshirt to replace my old one
They look super cool. It's a pity I am over my military garb fashion statement.

Embroidered patch looks great... hope that means hats soon, too!

Yes, please!!

Got it listed in our online store just now. Use the coupon code "STITCHES" (without the quotation marks) to save $3. The coupon is good through the end of the month.

I'm going to changing e-commerce platforms, because this one makes it so hard to deal with USPS for shipping, especially international rates. Don't worry what the price says for shipping. Each patch ships at the 3 ounce rate. If the order says $10 for shipping we are not going to process at that rate. Paypal transactions are not captured until we are ready to ship, and Mary will adjust the amount accordingly. If you use a credit card, she will only charge you the amount for 3 ounces of shipping (unless you get more than 1!)
This started out as a hat project, but multicolor just turned into this being the smallest I could pull off and still have things look smart. But yes, hats are my next target - I will have them for the holidays.
-
Nice looking patch. If you go for hats, I suggest the logo on the front and "Alembic" on the back. :)
-
That's how we did them last time, and that's the plan for the new hats.
-
Also, if for some reason the coupon only give you $3 off of multiple patches, we'll adjust it for to apply $3 to each patch. You can see why I'm changing platforms!
-
Australia and UK are $4.16 for postage for a single patch, $6.97 for two.
-
I like very much. :) :) :)
Now, will the embroiderer be able to super-size this onto the back of a jacket? ;)

Thanks, Wayne! Remember, I was starting off small scale for hats and wound up at this size. I can get huge patches made at this palce for you to sew on your own jacket, and I will make new artwork for that (bigger size = more detail). Thinking a 3-piece biker style.
I hope to be coordinating an order starting in October for the classic Alembic jackets. When I have the price quote from the original supplier, I'll start a new thread here to announce and gather names/sizes in preparation for the order. The jackets are custom made and are embroidered on the front with your name.
-
These look great. That's my order in :D

That's it, must have one!
-
These look great ... Just ordered mine :)
-
Me, too!! Great looking patches!
-
Awesome job Mica! I will definitely be getting some of these & a Jacket when they come out!
-
Yep, I'm in too. Will have to stitch this one on my old black denim jacket for this Fall. ;)
-
+1 on all the swag ideas, Mica. I like the idea of the biker style jacket patches, too.
Rob.
-
I'd love to get a small one that could fit in my bass strap.
-
Well lookie there.I think that patch is wonderful looking but I have nothing to place it on.I may order one anyway and shop around for a proper item to attach it to.
I must say I'm looking forward to what the jackets and hats are going to look like. What I would really like are biker style patches for a leather jacket I'm planning on purchasing soon.
-
And I just couldn't help myself.I had to order one naturally and I just did.
-
;DWow.That was quick.What a beautiful patch.Arrived today and I love it.What quick shipping.Thank you.
-
I want one too, but I can't think of where I would put it. I wonder if it could be sewn on to leather. I could put it on my gig bag. Ah, what the heck, get 'em while they're hot!
-
I would like one to fit on my leather gig bags but for that I'd prefer if it was just the logo without the name but I guess that isn't available yet. As far as possible I've always avoided clothes with designer brand names on but I have made an exception for my current alembic shirts so a jacket would be great especially if the shoulder material and seam at the back is heavy duty as my dreadlocks rubbing against that area, wear those areas of my shirts and denim jackets out pretty quick. :-)
-
Tracking info says my package was in London this morning. ;D Shouldn't take more than a day to make it's way up to Scotland.
Graeme
-
Got mine yesterday too. :D
Been thinking of how to fasten it onto my rack bag with the F-1X/Crown rig... maybe just sew it to the pocket.
-
Yes, embroidered bass straps, I like that idea. Embroidered patch on a nice swede 4" strap. I want. Root beer brown, please.
-
Jacko, i imagine yours is the first one to arrive in the UK.
-
Whew! We've caught up on all the patch orders, so new ones should be able to ship within a day of receipt now.
I'm working on the new sizes as time allows. You know I will keep the club updated on all the new stuff.
Thanks for all your support - I think the mailman almost had a heart attack yesterday when he saw the pile of envelopes and boxes.
-
Thank You, for doin' whatcha' do. 8)
Here's where mine is ending up...
-
Got mine today. It's beautiful! Thanks so much!
Rob.

Mine arrived safely in (unusually) sunny Scotland yesterday. I have to say the quality is superb and the colours are amazing and despite looking at a ruler it's bigger than I was expecting :D . Trying to decide whether or not to try to iron it onto my leather Harvester gig bag but I'm not sure if the iron-on glue will hold that well. The alternative is the lid of the padded messenger bag I use for my camera outfit.

I would like one to fit on my leather gig bags but for that I'd prefer if it was just the logo without the name but I guess that isn't available yet.
Any ideas of how you would affix it to the leather? Iron on? Sewing?
I'm pretty ignorant in these areas and I wouldn't want to abuse the integrity of the bag.
-
I like the info card as well, thanks for including it!
-
Greg; that looks great.
-
Has anyone else noticed the resemblance to a magic ball / scrying stone / orb on a stand?
Hmmmmmm......

I received my patch yesterday Mica, & as with all things Alembic, it is stunning beyond words! If you decide to make a 3" & 10" version I will buy those too!

-
Mine arrived today. As with most things Alembic much better in real life
Thanks so much Mica. Off to find a needle and thread. The tshirt is really colourful
also. You guys are "the best"
-
Yay! Glad you like the patches. I'm working on the smaller and larger size artwork. I'm hoping to have things ready for the holidays on those items.
-
I know this request may sound silly, or just plainly not much logical to most of you, but... Is there any way the patches could be sold through amazon's platform? We've been having a hard time here (pretty much in general, but specially when it comes to e-commercing) from some time now and basically amazon is almost the only online store that still accepts transactions from here... It would be really nice, since those patches are AWESOME! (I also have a jacket where it would look really nice!)
-
Doing up the denim 8)
-
Nicely done Mica and Co. Really excellent quality on the patches. Larger than I expected! Now I have to figure out where to put them so they will be seen. I have another few months until I'm healed enough to wear a bass and gig so I have time.
-
... What happened, Danno?
Sorry to hear that you're too tore up to play, what a drag.
Best wishes to you my brother -Mark

Quad bypass in August. Make sure to see your docs as you should. A stressful job teaching emotionally disturbed teens for 18 years caught up with me and too many wings over the years.
If you have a few minutes check out my latest cd on youtube and Spotify as well as iTunes. I'm on lead and rhythm guitars and bass, keys and backing vocals.

I found a good spot for my patch, I put it on my gig bag.
-
I like your video, Danno. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Rob.
-
Thanks very much Rob. Thinking about getting a Celtic - Irish type jacket and patch that up.
-
Mine came in today...oh wow! Just gorgeous, as are the new shirts!
I'm definitely in for a hat and a jacket!!
Just gotta figure out where to put it.... ::)
Maybe on my leather motorcycle vest??
-
Any news on the jackets yet, I'm trying to find something to ask Father Christmas for this year. :-)
-
Hey Mica!
Anything on the new hats and the jackets??
