We will be an exhibitor at the third annual Shakedown Street Festival (http://www.shakedownstreetfest.com) a live music event at Martin Luther King Civic Center Park in Downtown Berkeley this weekend September 17 and 18. Check out the list of bands playing, including club members Stephen and Wolf. The event is free, but beer isn't, and proceeds from beer sales benefit Seva Foundation (http://www.seva.org).
We'll have a couple of instruments on display, including a 6-string replica of Phil Lesh's medium scale bass Khaleesi, and either a Further or Tribute guitar (I have to pick one!). Stop by and say hello in you're in the neighborhood. Should be lots of great music a support for a great cause.

I managed to pop in both Saturday and Sunday - the Alembic booth looked great! Missed Wolf's band, but got to hear Cryptical & Friends - the lighting was not that great after the sun went down, but managed to get a shot of Stephen with his 5-string Series:

Sounded good out front Stephen! Hope you had fun!

Hey Harry
It was fun running into you at the festival on Saturday. Glad you were able to make it back on Sunday. Had a very good time playing. Great Berkeley crowd filled with familiar faces. We had a lot of our usual crew around. Howard Danchik mixed for us and Pete Soper, who brought and ran the PA for the event, also works with us frequently. Given the chaotic nature of a half-hour window to get set up and no soundcheck it was incredibly helpful to be working with Howard and Pete who know what we need and what the band should sound like. So the sound thing was good but the lighting...
Wolf deserves a big shout-out for not only bringing it on bass with his band Easy Wind but also working as a volunteer both days as part of the stage and hospitality crew. And of course it is always nice to see Mica and Bill. Agree the Alembic booth looked great and the two instruments Mica brought were just gorgeous.
