...nice price too.

Oh yeah, that's a nice-looking bass. The mahogany figure is nice too.

I grabbed it... too nice to pass up and at that price!
I emaile dthe store and the manager was saying that the volume pot spins and spins, it works fine but just doesnt stop spinning. That seemed like a minor thing to me. Only thing that really bothered me was the rusty screws, Im going to clean her up and restring and hopefully all will be well :)

good call...congrats!!

Good catch Tom... worst case scenario, at least you know where to get a replacement volume pot from. ;)

Glad to hear someone on the forum snagged it. The Clarostat pots have a internal plastic lug that prevents them from just spinning. sometimes it gets worn or broken off after years of service and that allows it to spin clear around. As you noticed, the thing still works though!

Thanks all... I cant wait to get it into my hands. going to break out the flitz and alembic polish, I also have a set of thomsatik jazz flats Im going to try on it. I may go for a new pot depends on how much its bothering me if at all. Cant believe I bought it actually I am so excited to get it.
