Here's something you don't see many of... a Distillate guitar.

It's got a couple repairs... the headstock must have gotten broken off sometime. Not the most subtle repair ever committed, but it looks stable. Not sure what the large (rosewood?) patches to the top and back are for... maybe it had a tremolo bridge installed sometime? The bridge and bird tailpiece look correct. Happy if not eager to be corrected there.
Would love to find a cool old player like this state-side.

Maybe my screen's not big enough, but I don't see a headstock repair. The wooden(?) block is interesting. I also suspect a Strat-type tremolo was added and removed in the past. A slight red flag that none of the pics focuses on that area, though. I'd certainly want some close ups of both the back and the front showing the block before I'd consider this one. Otherwise a cool old Alembic that you don't see everyday.

A sister single pickup Distillate Guitar to my single pickup Distillate Bass ! Hey ___ The "Cyclops Twins " ! I think I get a good sound from mine . The price on this Guitar is not bad , it seems to me .

Not sure if the headstock was repaired but there is something going on with the face of the headstock. Maybe there were string retainers installed at one point which were then removed?
First time I looked at this I didn't scroll through all the pictures. Today I saw the brown case with the Alembic logo... I like it!

The holes on the face of the head stock would go along with a past tremolo, especially a Floyd Rose style unit.

Ahh - locking nut assembly. How'd I miss that cue?
What a cool old guitar. Just needs a little fixin' up.
