I've searched for the answer to this and I didn't see it.
I've noticed that many of the embedded links in the migrated messages have been eliminated in the migration process. (See attached) This may be a known limitation, or it may have happened to some but not all migrated messages. I have noticed that it has affected most of the recent messages I've posted.
Two questions:
- Is this an expected (but undesirable) side effect of the migration from an ancient platform? and we just accept it and move on?
- In the case of this post http://club.alembic.com/index.php?action=post;board=878.0 (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?action=post;board=878.0), what's the best way to re-add the links (to pictures)? Should I post a reply, or create a new thread?
I did not see a specialized area for message-board related questions. Are there plans for one? If not, in which area of the current list of forums should we post messages like this one?

This is as good a place as any, thanks for starting this, Tom.
The embedded links issue is something we are working on and if all goes well, something that will just appear in the coming days. URLs that were not embedded transferred just fine.

OK, I wasn't going to open my pie hole, but since this thread is here . . .
I appreciate the efforts that went into updating the Alembic Club and truly enjoy the new platform.
One thing - there is another sight that I spend waaaayy too much time at; they have an option for "liking" a post. I 'like' that feature as it is a quick, easy and a non-intrusive way to pat a fellow member on the back and agree with his or her opinion/ comment.
I have no expectations of anyone bending over backwards to do the afore mentioned as there was certainly enough effort making the sight this shiny and new. Continue on . . . . :-)

I tried posting multiple pictures a couple of days ago & it limited me to 128KB for each picture & a total limit of 198KB for all the pictures, so I was only able to post one picture at a time. Is that something that can be fixed? The old forum allowed 150KB with no total limit per post.
Thanks!

Rusty; we had changed that, but I just went to look and found that it has reset to default. We'll have to look into that. I'm going to leave it as is for the moment so I can report it. We'll probably increase the max size again soon. Thanks.

We've reset the max size for a picture back up to 500kB.
