Every keyboard, mouse, and monitor is custom made from one solid piece of wood, every item displays the unique design of the natural wood. No two items are ever alike! Our company takes pride in constructing each of our products with the highest possible quality of wood. We regard the wood as the most crucial component found in each of our products, and our manufacturing department imports wood types from all over the world to meet our clients? high standard.

and people buy this??
man i am tooo poor.....
-
What????!!!!
No Buckeye Burl???!!!
Designed for the non-compromising among us...well, non-compromise some Buckeye Burl for me, or I'm shopping elsewhere.
-
Chump change. I once interviewed the owner of a window-dressing shop who said he's sold more than a few customers more than $250,000 worth of BLINDS!
Pimp my Windows indeed...

Considering how fast systems become obsolete in the realm of computers (CPUs, memory, motherboards, and monitors), and that items like mice need replacing relatively quickly from use, this does not seem a likely item for the less than top of the financial food chain member, whose respect for a buck is a touch to low for most of us who work for wages. Time to go to work. Make mine oak, please. To match my office furniture.

-
You better go with black walnut. If you get oak, you won't be able to see it sitting on your desk.
-
and people buy this??
They bought Pet Rocks didn't they ?
There's a guy in the neighborhood who has a small pond on his lot that he's stocked with those large foo foo Japanese goldfish (can't remember name of em).
He's told anyone who'll listen how it's cost him thousands of dollars because the birds and other wildlife like to snack on them. Thus proving that money and intelligence do not go hand in hand.
One of my cats has even brought one home for me.
-
Nigel, is that a Remco tank??
-
Hey Bob - If you get oak, you won't be able to see it sitting on your desk. Wouldn't that be great! The less like 'work' it looks, the better, IMO.
Kenn - Yep, that is a Remco Bulldog tank, and a Remco Fighting Lady battleship to the right of it. During off season, I have been known to shoot passers by with them. They were the coolest toys on the market back in my stone-age youth. Your kinda showing your age, just by recognizing the tank . . .
I like my toys. I walk into my office in the morning and feel very comfortable and ready for work. I actually need almost no space to work in, so this works well for me.

Nigel, I tend to show my age with the gray hair, however, it is a full head of hair, so no complaints here. I have a great one for you though, I have a Remco Johnny Reb Cannon,in the box. When I give that a test fire the family scatters. They don't make them like these anymore.
-
If I can't have a Chinese Dragon inlaid somewhere on one of the pieces, I'm shopping elsewhere too...!!
-
dont forgedt leds roger
-
The dragon inlay would loop around the border of the monitor. You'd also have to have the labels inlaid in assorted flavors of abalone, MOP, precious metals, and contrasting woods as appropriate. Of course, you'd have to have LEDs on the home keys and the num pad 5 to guide you when not quite touch-typing in a dark office. This is starting to shape up.

And a smell-o-rama gizmo, which gives off puffs of freshly cut exotic woods and 'new computer' smell when desired. And of course one would have to opt for the mini 'wall-of-sound' option.

Nigel, why are neither of those two monitors showing the Alembic site????????
Paul TGO

There is an Alembic logo in the picture, if you look close enough. I have several Alembic items in my office, but only one shows in the above shot. There are at least two in the shot below. Can you spot em?!

-
Nigel (I see you changed your profile to include Nigel only, so Nigel it is):
I see one in the bottom picture, none in the top, unless of course you are referring to Chef, the Alembic of school cafeteria workers! LOL
Happy Holidaze,
Bill, tgo
-
I see the two in the bottom but can't find the top one, can we have a hint?
-
I can give you a hint on the top one...look at the South Park stuff carefully...
Valentino
-
TIMMY!!!!
How about a hint for the less obvious one on the bottom?
Bill, tgo
-
Damn, this is like finding the bunny on each cover of Playboy.
Wait, I think I see...no, damn, hold on, what's that in the corner??...nope, wait a minute....hey, that might be it...........
-
Hint for Middle picture: The missing one - I collect pennies in for a programmer's daughter's college fund.
There are at lease two items in this picture below, too. This is kind of fun!
Another tough one, here. Hint: I keep M&Ms in it for worker's children that stop by to play with my friends.

you can't imagine how thankful I am that none of my employees have entered the office while I'm staring at these phot......oh crap, busted!
Nigel, you rock.
Mike
(flax - this is the ultimate thread-jacking episode)
-
O.K. I think I've got it, but I need a clarification. Am I looking specifically for Alembic logos, or does this also include things made by Alembic? If it's the latter, I think I've got it. If it's the former ... aaarrrrgggghhhhh!
Bill, tgo
p.s. Nigel - love the angel Kenny, they killed him again, you bastards!
-
No, all but one is a logo item. One is signed, but has no logo on it at all. On both the hard to spot ones, it really helps if you have one of them, so you recognize it easier.
Bill, I cleared my profile so people would know I was not around (No e-mail address, etc.). A change of luck at work has forstalled the start of tax season madness for my company, so I am typing here on borrowed time.
Hey Mike, how is YOUR 20th doing? I still love that bass! I am very glad she has a good home.
Kenny and Timmy are my all-time favorite animated characters. I wonder how come they never kill Timmy? Cause he rocks, that's why!
-
Nigel, I noticed one other item from my youth, I meant to mention it earlier, the wooden boat with the battery powered motor, very nice.
Kenn
-
Hey, Tom.
You don't hear any funny noises or music when you turn out the lights and leave the office, do you? Are you sure?
sent you email about the 20th
-
Hey Kenn. The boat is a late 50's wooden outbourd made in Japan and hand painted. I got it in a minty box, too, with the motor in it's own box. All the running lights and the motor work. Pretty snazzy! The one I had when I was a kid was a plastic cabin cruiser in the early 60's. Same type of motor, but not as cool.
Alembic items in the first picture are Kenny's hat - 2nd = Alembic coffee cup and an Alembic Logo'd wooden box to the left of it (Hard to make the logo out in the reduced picture) and 3rd = logo on the side of the desk and a 'little wooden box' on the top shelf, in front of the cookie jar. Low res! Sorry.
Back to work!
