Title: Hey it's good to be back home again(apologies to John D)
Post by: Michael DeVincenzo (jlpicard) on September 01, 2002, 11:12:49 PM
I cannot express to you all in words how wonderful it is to be among those who truly understand the Alembic experience! After an eternity of tryin to explain to the uninitiated the joy of playing a bass that never fails to satisfy on so many levels,it feels like I've finally come home. My deepest appreciation and heart-felt thanks to the Wickershams for taking  the sound in my head, and putting it into my hands. Michael D.

Hi Mike, you may remember me from meeting you at Guitar Czar; I was the guy who bought one of the Europa's from Progressive Music. I'm living in the SLC area now. I'd love to see you play sometime. I saw you back in 1983 in Boise,ID and really enjoyed your playing. I don't know if Eric told you, I saw your Europa while on an Alembic factory tour. Small world, Eh?

Hi Derwin, It certainly is a small world! I'm flattered that you still remember a performance of mine from so long ago. That band was Connie  and The Rythmn Method, a great bunch of players with a fireball of a female singer.Ah ,the good old days! Mike
