They seems to be really spectacular. But eventhough they are called names like QL-tuners, the bass in the download-example sounded out of tune.

I'm with Paul.  I read it three times and still don't know what the hell it is.  Is it a pickup, a tuner, some combination of both?  Maybe a tuneup.

I finally figured it out! A Q-tuner is a pickup having a wider frequency-range and more dynamics. I just listened to the 96 demo....kinda like a cross between a bass and a harp, very unusual indeed. A headphone for this one!

I thought that the guy in Germany who would vibrate your bass to condition the wood was the most esoterically obtuse website I'd run across.
 
I'd vote that this beats that one hands down.

So, we can have vibrating basses with the sound of a harp. What's next? Any suggestions? I guess there must be somebody on this globe doing that already. Ok, let's play bass again, that's better.
