Ditto, Dave.  That's a weird one.  So, let's see.  I spent money for a bass and invite a ghost into my home?  Sounds good to me.

If it WERE a true story and he WAS truly afraid, why would he tell anyone who was interested in buying it? Why not just sell it and hope to never see it again? Or, just take it apart ;)
 
This is a little too much to swallow, after all, Christine was a red '58 Plymouth, not a red basement bound bass.....
