Yesterday someone posted a link here, to a very recent thread on some newsgroup. The newsgroup thread had a number of pictures of Phil playing 'the Godfather' - the Guild with Alembic guts, and what I think they call the 'steely' logo.

Depending on the type of browser you have and how you have it set up, the words Here's the link in my previous post should stand out as being a link; i.e. if you click on those words they will take you to the site.  It may be that your browser is set up such that links like these are not easy to see.

Dave, are you going to do an employee project bass?

Keavin, scroll down through the thread.  The first pic should be in the fifth post; you shouldn't have to click on the link, the picture should be right there in the message.  It's a picture of the bass in a guitar stand.  There are about six more pics, all of Phil playing the bass, a little further down in the thread.

And to answer your last question; I'm neither an employee nor a contractor of Alembic.  I live 2,640 miles from the shop, and I've never been there.

Does anybody know how to download the recordings off of that BTTREE site? I'm obviously inept at doing so because I can't get anything.

Kevin - you need a BitTorrent client. Here's a good free one for just about any common OS:
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/)

Then check this out - it should answer any questions you have.
