i dont know if anyone has tried them. i just placed an order,
they have 3 groups of flatwounds. you purchase a separate b string .130 for 10$
i used www.bassguitarstrings.us (http://www.bassguitarstrings.us) for my order-
group 1 -55 75 90 110
group 2- 50 70 85 105 - ones i bought
group 3- 45 65 80 100
as at $23per set
TI:s are .43,56,70,106
these are much heavier and might make up for what i think is a light sounding g string of the TI's
i will get back after i get them and throw them on direwolf
shipping is only $6 regardless of order
at $40 out the door these are much cheaper than TI
so am crossing fingers they dont sound cheaper than TIS -hohoho

One thing I'm going to start doing is to keep a log, writing down the date I change strings on each bass. That will make it easier for me to get a good idea of how long a set of strings lasts.

I bought two sets for my fretless 5. Both the Bstrings came in dead. I e-mailed Ernie Ball and they told me that I was wrong. I will stick with LaBella's and TI's.
Just my .02

I am glad I'm not the only one.
