There's been a lot of nice things said about Dave in the Holiday Greetings thread.  I didn't want to add anything there but did want to say I agree whole heartedly.  Dave is one of the most positive thinking people I've come in contact with.  Occasionally, as in any family, there is some friction here.  Dave is always there to gently guide us back on path.
Thanks Dave, you can't see me but I'm lifting my glass to you.  I'm not usually given to sentimentality so please forgive me this one indulgence.

When somebody---and no names, such as my own, mentioned here---posts [something totally wrong]....  Does Dave say, You dumb $#!+, are you outta your mind?  No, he says, You probably meant to say [what I meant to post].

Thanks guys!  I very much enjoy being a member of this group of people.  I learn a lot here; and being here has helped me to become a better musician and a better person.  This is a great community; and it is made so by all of us.
 
Each and every day, we influence, either positively or negatively, each and every person we come in contact with, whether it be in our work, in line at the grocery, or on line in a forum like this.  And the spirit of this community has been a very positive influence on me.
 
Of course this community wouldn't be possible without Mica, Val and everyone at Alembic!
 
So thank you to all of you for making this such a wonderful community!!
