This may be of interest to our guitarist bretheren.A video demo of the Pigtronix EP1 Envelope Phaser featuring guitarist Ernie Jackson.He uses various guitars including a sweet,maple top Orion.You can find it here;

Yeah, that was very cool. Good Garcia-like tone with the envelope filter inverted!

check out how clean and clear the low E is on that Orion demo!

Long-scale (25 1/2), I'll wager, is the culprit, LOL! Alembic electronics MAY help, LOL!

Not only am I lucky enough to have an Orion, but I also have a Pigtronix Envelope Phaser. An amazingly versital effect in my opinion. I had  a couple mods done that allow for expression pedal control of a couple functions and the use of the two effects together. If your like me and you play in a Dead cover band, the combination of an Alembic and an EP-1 is awesome.

Ernie's guitar is a 28 baritone scale, it was the one on the original Orion guitar flyer. He's an excellent player and a very nice human!

Some reason the server is not running, shame cos I was quite interested in hearing how another orion sounds.
 
I've only heard mine :-)
Maybe I'll try later. ( or is it cos I'm using a mac? )

Only partly true I guess Jazzy,
 
you need Realplayer for Mac or Windows Media PLayer for Mac.
Something to download from the internet free.
