Did anyone else catch Nick Mason and David Gilmour performing Arnold Layne on Later with Jools Holland last night (26th)? As far as I know, Pink Floyd never played this live. I couldn't believe my ears! My Further sounds better than D.G.'s Strat though, despite his rig.

Yep, i caught it. Richard wright on keyboards too. i couldn't believe my eyes! Overall, a superb program - Paul Simon playing a couple from his new album plus Graceland (boy does he look old!). Elvis costello and Allen Toussaint were very good as was nacao Zumbi. I don't like the streets though so i got plenty of time to visit the bathroom / refill my wineglass.
Paul simon had Bhagiti Khumalo on bass which was a nice surprise although he was rather far back in the mix.
Gilmour had Steve Gadd playing drums and brought out Crosby and Nash to sing harmonies on 'on an island' from his new album.
Worth staying in on friday night for ;-)
For those wondering what the fuss is about, you can watch the show online here..

Thanks, Graeme.
Unfortunately, the Beeb doesn't allow us Yanks to view their content. Bummer, I was looking forward to that show! Besides catching Dave at the first OAI tour US gig (Radio City in NYC) I also went last week to see a ltd. 1-night simulcast of the first OAI tour show...documented by the BBC in GB. You blokes get all the breaks, LOL!
Cheers,
Kevin
