First Vince, now Billy.  Not a good week for keyboard players.  I didn't realize Billy had been in a coma for the last 7 months.  Another of the greats is gone.  Peace.

I heard about this on the evening news.  For those of you who have a copy of the Concert For George, now would be a good time to put on My Sweet Lord.

We're getting old, folks.  It is painful to know that I will have to endure all of my heroes' passings, unless I go first.    'Miss you...

And if you don't have that, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VizaIB-Wwx0&search=billy%20preston) is nice too!  Good for your heart.

John, don't feel old. i'm 26 and i absolutely love Billy's music. something about the soul and spirituality of the way he played, and the beauty of the truly amazing voice. excuse me, i must go put Behold on the turntable.

Dave thanks, Thats the Way video was awsome. I'm going to have our team learn that for our church. I still have goose bumps!

I heard about this late last night on the radio. Very sad. What was worse was that BBC radio 2 were struggling to find a Billy Preston recording to play as a tribute!  My abiding memory is of his performance on the concert for Bangladesh. especially when George is introducing the band... We've forgotten Billy Preston!  As if!....
