Oh Saturday morning - the chance to sleep in and waken to the body's own alarm rather than the GE clock radio on the nightstand. Turn up the heat, get the morning paper, boot up the computer, click on Alembic.com, click on Alembic Club, the page loads and EARTHQUAKE!!!!!! We had one last Wednesday evening, another last night, but this morning's lasted the longest. Alembic shakes the world!

Bill;
Please don't fall off into the ocean.
Thanks,
Dave

I'm seconding Dave-- after all, Bill lives near Alembic.

I just love extra-extended low frequency!
Makes my bowels move. :0

It was definitely extra-extended low frequency ... and then some. Even a little more moving than Phil through Osage Orange and the Wall of Sound!

Missed it (them) completely... maybe you're on the wrong side of the Bay?
-
Gee, I didn't feel a thing!
-
I was just reading about that. Weren't there four of them?
-
Three that were felt. Plus a 2.2 aftershock which it usually too small to feel. They were along the Hayward fault, so I'm not surprised they weren't felt in Redwood CIty, though they were big enough that they were felt across the Bay in S.F. More importantly to most of the denizens of this neck of the net, Alembic is about 60 miles north and well inland - it ain't fallin' into the ocean anytime soon! On the other hand, if Oakland ever slips away, look for some nice guitars washing up on the beaches of Orinda! LOL
