Having just looked back over the threads and posts of the last 12 months, the 'True Confessions' thread, posted July 14th,prompted me to post this.
Thanks Dave for overseeing this forum and all of us who contribute.I'm guessing the post mentioned above and others featuring the same person were challenging to say the least.Your response was a perfect example of why your work here is so appreciated and valued.
Thanks again and Happy Holidays,
Simon.

(In chant mode) Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave.
Your integrity and class fit perfectly with the company and the club.
Thanks,
Rich
P.S. I hope everyone is having a great holiday.

Well said Simon. On occasion I've found myself on my feet yelling at the screen when Dave sends milk and cookies for the savages.
Oh boy, hopefully the animals were fed early and put in their cages prior to this thread.
Thanks Dave.

Dave,
Thank you for what you do, and enjoy the holidays.
Who knows where this board would be without you? ;)
-
Cages?? We don't need no stinkin cages!
OOOPPPSSS..had a Mel Brooks moment.
Dave is knowledgable, addresses the situation, and takes the time to articulate a response. This is far more than I've seen on other forums. My hats off to you Dave.
Merry Christmas to all.

We are all VERY FORTUNATE to have as big a gentleman as Dave Houck elevating the civility and thought present in this forum. Amazing how he can make 'sweeping up after the elephants' look and sound so elegant.
I should only hope to be that well-spoken and considered in my posts. Thanks Dave, you give us all something to shoot for, and Merry Christmas !
Now, if you'll excuse me, I just got home from the ABC with the Crown Royal and I'm gonna bake cookies . . .
