Title: Good-bye my friend
Post by: flaxattack on January 17, 2007, 07:22:18 PM
I called alembic today and found out our good friend Valentino will be leaving permanently Friday.

I know i am speaking for many as i wish val our very best wishes as he pursues his next adventure.

In yiddish there is a word for Val. It's called mensch There is no literal translation but in essence it means a mans man

Val along with Mica helped me design Direwolf and he was there from the very beginning on Scooter.

Val
on behalf of all the people you have touched.......

Thank you for helping our dreams become reality

Godspeed, may the wind always be at your back and may the 4 winds blow you safely home.

I will look forward to seeing your posts as moderator and i will always think of you when i am playing

Val,

Like all here, I wish you the very best of luck in whatever you do and wherever you choose to do it.  You have been an excellent addition to the Alembic crew, and I think many of us have come to feel like we know you through these pages, if not in person.  Take care and keep in touch!

John

Valentino is going to work for his family's business and with his language and music skills, he will be a great asset to them.

While Valentino won't be at the office anymore, he'll still be a moderator on the Club and will certainly be visitng the shop regularly.

Bye, Val, don't be a stranger.  And anytime you're around the East Bay, stop by and say hello to Tina and me.

Thanks everybody,

it's been a great 3 1/2 years and I will never forget the experience.

I'll miss everyone here at Alembic, it's been a honor and a priviledge working with them and helping so many of you with your dream instruments.

As Mica & Jeff pointed out I'll still be a moderator on the club, so I'll stay in touch.

Thanks again

Valentino

Good luck with the family business.  It is a sad day to see you leaving Alembic.

If you're ever up Seattle-way, remember that our home is always open.

Wow, time sure flies! May you find great success and reward working for the family. I remember the first time I called and heard a male voice on the Santa Rosa side. Threw me fer a loop!
Take care,

Best wishes Val.

I appreciate the fact that every time I called you made me feel as though the dumb ideas I had were genius, but perhaps best forgotten. A scholar and a gentleman always. Glad to hear, you will still be here.

Give old 80-1595 a hug when you see her.

Good luck,Gary
