Title: For those who watch Dragonball Z...
Post by: blazer on February 09, 2007, 05:27:32 PM
Most of you probably don't know but Dragonball Z is probably the anime with the most dubs ever, the voice cast was changed several times over as the pubilishing rights of the series went to one company to another before finally settling on Funimation.

Take for example leadcharacter Goku, I found a clip on youtube that shows all the english dub actors that provided him his voice, note how similar the first four sound.

From all of those voice actors proving Goku with his Voice, it was Sean Schemmel (the third one in this clip) who became the one we all know as Goku.

But the most ironic about all of this is that in the original Japanese version Goku is voiced by the same person throughout the whole series and the name of his voice talent is Masato Nozowa

If you think that Goku's voice is kinda high in the Japanese version, it's not too difficult an conclusion if I reveal that his Voice talent in japan is a woman.
