Excellent playing. I don't know much about piccolo basses but I have an unused musicman sterling sitting around the house unused virtually since I reverted to Alembic. Thats a regular 34 inch scale bass could I use that as a piccolo bass?
If so what strings do I need and what tuning?

thanks
Jazzyvee

Hi Jazzyvee,

Check this thread (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=3671) for your reference.

In this thread, Mica says that saddles should be replaced and reslotted for narrower strings. But if you use Musicman for your piccolo bass, I think the saddles need not be replaced because it can be adjusted individually. If you try it, please report about it.

I found this guy's web site. (http://www.beautiful-bass.com/ target=_blank)
