while on my cruise this past march there was an auction of sports memorabilia.
how often does a person have a chance to get a photo with 2 of his all time heroes in it and autographed
the photo is app 3ft X4ft and is authentic

Jeff,

If you're going to Whittier and Anchorage, I recommend you take the train to Denali then the bus through the park.  It's awesome.

Also, there used to be a jazz quartet by name of Chromazone that played around the Anchorage area, and they were awesome.  I would guess they're still around and worth giving a listen if you're in Anchorage for any length of time.

it looked good but was part of a 10-14 cruisetour and that was a little long for us
so we booked 7 days
going halibut fishing!

Flax-

Good decision, my wife is from the Caribbean and for our honeymoon we went on a 7 day tour through the Carribean. I was READY for the thing to end when we were done.  It was a blast, but I'm a runner and cyclist (know better than to say 'biker' on this site) and I was plain stir-crazy when we were done.

Take full advantage of the shore stops- stay off that boat ALL day long- see all you can see on land.

-and be ready to eat...the food neverstops- seriously.  Roomservice galore!  Enjoy~
