I have a large sat dish. Any way to tap that signal? I love to hear that. It's been a long time since I've heard RTF anywhere.
Thanks for the heads up.

Here is Clarkee with Return to forever playing "Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy on a Rickenbaker. I never even knew he played one. Pic quality is not good i captured it of an itunes video I was watching.

Yeah man, that's the missing link in my opinion. A lot of times you will hear that Stanley Clarke always played an Alembic, but he's also known to have played a Gibson EB-2 and a Fender Jazz, and of course the RIckenbacker 4000 (notice it's only got one pickup). The difference between his bass sound on the first three Return to Forever albums (especially Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy) and Where Have I Known You Before is night and day (though I like both!). I like to think that maybe it's the Ric on Hymn...
Nice screen captures by the way! Here's the track from Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFP-alYNq5I target=_blank). Personally I prefer Bill Connors to Al Di Meola...
