This is why when you've damaged your guitar, you should take it to a professional repairman and don't try and fix it yourself.

Ever heard the term bugly? cause dat's what this is!
-
Uuhhh...
I don't believe those last two photos of the neck show a factory approved method for adjusting for bow.
and what ate all the ebony above the 18th fret?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH My EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curse my eyes for seeing such wrong doing.
-
That's awesome! If I wasn't tight on cash, that baby would be hanging on my wall! Wow...
John
-
All it needs are some Frankenstein electrodes sticking out of its neck.
What knockers!
-
What it needs at this point are last rites. Somebody actually bid on it?
-
That is too funny!
-
You've got to appreciate the seller's integrity. As awful as it sounded, I wasn't prepared for the images...yeesh.
16 bids as of this post...why?
-
I can't believe there are people stupid enough to bid over a thousand dollars for firewood.

I guess to the 'singer of Jesus' it was just a block of wood that made a noise to him. Some people just don't hold the respect of fine instruments.
I think that one is for the junk skip..mind you I wonder what the crew of mothership Alembic could do with it??
-
Fuel for the BBQ?
-
DR frankenstein.........It's alive!!!
-
Hellraiser is the movie I'm thinkin of...
-
I can't wait to see what this one goes for. 16 bidders so far, amazing. Someone wants to be able to say he has a '59 Gibson real bad.

The turnbuckles holding the neck on are a really nice touch. Whoever did this to a lovely old Gib should be flogged.
-
That just breaks my heart.
Rick
-
Just wait . . . . . it'll show up at some future vintage guitar show with an asking price of 10 grand . . . . although the backside 'turnbuckling pickups' are a unique touch . . . .

$2,162.
*sigh*
-
Unbelievable!
-
In excellent condition this guitar would be worth $13,000 - $19,000. I could maybe understand the winning bid if this were one of those $150,000 gold tops, but it's not. This is like buying a $250,000 Ferrari that's drove off the edge of the Grand Canyon, crashed, and was totally demolished for $40,000.

And that Ferrari had a small block Chevy engine put in it.
-
Welded into it. By a 7th grader taking beginning welding.

Firewood.

I have just looked at this guitar again and on second sighting...well if you did this to the most cheapest guitar in the world and played in a tribute grunge band you would gain a lot of points but whoever bought it will have the challenge of a life time to restore it(if it is possible) to it's original looks and specifications..Good luck..and if the buyer is reading this then all of us here at the club would like to see it done stage by stage in photos.
