....I have too much free time.
I was about to start getting a litle more familiar with Cubase 4 which I just purchased when she pops in my music room and says, You've got one hour then we need to leave!
Well it actually took about an hour and a half but I did manage to record and entire song and upload it to myspace.
You've Got One Hour. (http://www.myspace.com/olieoliver)
It's nothing elaborate but did help me get a little more familiar with Cubase4.

Cool! What are you using for the wah effect?
-
Thanks Dave, thats a Line-6 BassPod Live auto-wah.
-
I like it; smooth groove.

Just heard all the tracks..very cool stuff, very inspiring..must really get my cubase set up and do some instead of laying in front of the TV with the remote!!!

Thanks Terry.
It's funny you should mention TV. I listened back to the first tune and thought to myself, I've got to stop watching Batman reruns. LOL
Actually on all four of those grooves I was just getting a feel for the software. More concerned about multiple tracks and not the playing.

Olie, nice grooves. Forgive my ignorance (and research-averse laziness), but what is a Cubase? Is it basically a looper?

Thanks Rich.
Cubase (http://www.steinberg.net/983_1.html) is a full scale multi-track recording & production software.
It does include some virtual instruments and some loops. But everything on those 4 tunes I actually played the instruments.
