Tomorrow @ the PNC Bank Arts Center in glorious New Joisey: Bob Weir/Ratdog opening for the Awesome, er, um, Allman Brothers. Should be a great show...anybody here going? I be...be there or be square! LOL!
Cheers,
Kevin

No libations in the parking lot! Arrest count should be fairly high for this one. My bandmates were there backstage @ Ozzfest w/ Lamb of God et all. Shame that it would affect all shows with older demographics as well as the too young events.

Understood and noted. I rarely drink. I'm taking my g/f who rarely drinks and my brother for his 40th b'day and he's a recovering alcoholic. If I do decide to imbibe, I'll go for the $10 PNC beer inside the venue to go along with my $5 pretzel...alright, throw in a $7 Fiji bottled water and I'm set. LOL!

I suspect Danno wasn't only referring to alcohol. Be careful out there!

Kevin,
I'll be at this show. I have read some reviews and most are positive. I am looking forward to a good show. My tickets are in the first few rows as one of my bandmates brother-in-law is on the board for the Art Center. Have a great time!
Regards,
Pete

Pete,
D*mn, we need to hang out! LOL! I always go there and with few exceptions, never get good seats, despite how much the tix cost. Look for the moron in the 300's with a tie-dyed H-D shirt on...that'd be me.
Bill,
Understood. Nononono, I don't do it no more...I'm tired of waking up on the floor...sorry for the bad Ringo ref.
My days of the chronic disappeared with my teen years (along with most of my hair, LOL!)
FWIW, amazingly, my taste in music during my teen years must have been decent: I'm still into the same stuff and now that I'm not high or drunk I still enjoy it (more than before in most cases)!
Cheers,
Kevin

Best ABB show I've seen in a few years. Lot's o' inter-band jams between ABB and Ratdog members during both band's sets. The weather was cool and damp (drizzle later), but the parking situation was a fuster cluck. Luckily, Weir's set was long enough for me to catch the last 40mins. as I drove around in vain trying to park my Dodge Ram HD behemoth while the teeniebopper parking attendants stood around with their hands in their pockets totally bewildered that more than 10 people showed up to the show.
