Title: Advice on using an F-1X
Post by: jakebass on September 20, 2007, 02:37:45 PM
Hi all, I've just got my hands on a used F-1X, playing through it into my studio the sound is way better than I expected, so once again well done Alembic for the consistency of excellence produced. What I would like to hear are some suggestions about the type of power amp to pair it with and how to wire the crossover (with the power amp) I have an SWR goliath 4x10 with seperate wiring for the horn. Presumably I need to use a stereo power amp and dedicate a channel to each frequency output. Sorry if this seems obvious but I have always used combos in the past. thanks
Jake
