Good Lord! Could someone explain what all is in that setup?
-
The thing on the floor is a GCX ground control. The ground control is a really nice pedal board in that it can control regular stomp boxes, some of which you can see in his rack, and it's a midi controller as well for controlling rack mount effects.
-
It can turn on stompboxes remotely? Wild. How does it do that? I guess I can see the midi thing. But analog pedals? What's the purple thing?
-
the round things are speakers and am guessing the rest is amps and effects,, i could be wrong
-
Oh no, dude, it's way beyond that....;)
-
lol
i emailed him to come back and explain the setup
and give him my qualifications- lol
-
if you want i'll give a breakdown of the system later, all it is really is a combination of garcia's 80's and 90's racks right down to the cae buffers and 124 ohm belden gold and blue wire. the purple thing is a line-6 filter pro, i like it better than a mutron.

You guys realize that you're going to need a wall-o-sound to round it all out, don't you.... ;)

1dallek1 - did you build your own cabs?? they look very Ikea if you see what I mean.
That is some setup you have.
-
They look like Hard Truckers (I love that look). Did you build 'em or buy them? Nice rig. Also, BTW, I'd love to try out for your band if you were in the Milwaukee/Chicago area. Good luck and keep us posted.

no im not a woodworker, the only inhouse here is the electronics. these are both hard truckers one wirh jbl e120 and the other with my favorite EVM12L which ive had since 83. to the right is an ev-ap2600a amp running in stereo the ev really has a good sound and no hernia factor, i will go for a mac if i merit rhodies someday, i cant lift over 100 pounds
here is what i did to the inside of the phiga rosebud 2 gain buffers the cb-1 and the jangletone in front they can be switched by the blue plug
