Hey, all. Been a while. Hope everyone is 'Aite!
Just clickin' thru some YouTube and came across this little gem. Allman Bros. Band with one of my Hero's, Allen Woody. Check out Allen's cool Exploiter. Looks like Europa Electronics. Even on the old vid, the bass really cuts! Enjoy!

Those were two great clips of the Allman Brothers! Thanks!!

The second bass player is David Goldflies. He played with Dickey Betts and Dan Toler in Great Southern/Dickey solo before the Allmans reformed in seventies. I believe he still has that Series I. He also uses an Alembic preamp (F1-x or F2-B, not sure) and Bag End 15s. I honestly prefer his bass playing over Lamar Williams'. Maybe I just lean more towards the Alembic players.

A link to my personal favorite rendition of Ramblin Man. More nice work from David Goldflies on the Series 1. Dickey is less nasally than I have heard him sing usually. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WGVW7byRCA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WGVW7byRCA)
