I live in Linden, VA - about a 90 min ride west on 66.  Did you know that Stanley Clarke is coming to the Birchmere on March 16?

I'm in Baltimore.  The band is  Moodswings (http://moodswings.com target=_blank).  Played the White house last December 6; playing a fund-raiser for the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in 'Nap-town this Saturday.  Just click through to my profile entry.

There's a DC band called Sweet Interference.  The bass player has an Alembic.  Or he did once anyway.

Big Tony, the bass player and front man for Troublefunk, a DC institution, plays a Series I. Huge influence on me back in the 80s!

Big Tony and TroubleFunk are on cnn's United Shades of America that aired last night (DC culture).

I noticed a crown headstock on stage and it all fell into place ;)
It was a great segment.
