Title: Pickups for acoustic
Post by: phylo on February 04, 2009, 01:58:57 PM
Don't know if this has been posted/discussed before, but I am in the market for a pickup for my early 70s Guild D25.

I am leaning towards the B-Band A2.2 XOM.  Any thoughts on this one or any others?

I like how the b-band doesn't bridge the soundhole.

I just had a Fishman Matrix Infinity installed on my D-28.  It's an under-saddle pickup with the pre-amp built into the strap pin/jack.  It has volume and tone rotary controls that fit inside the guitar, just next to the soundhole.  Easy to adjust, but otherwise out of sight.  It also has a bass trim slider switch.  I'll be using it on-stage for the first time Friday night, but so far I really like it.

Bill, tgo
