Title: Planning trip up to Chicago area this summer

My wife and I are planning a trip back to St. Charles to visit her folks this summer. We usually hang around the Fox Valley and take a day trip or two into the city/museums. This year I was thinking about popping down at night for a concert or two. Before we moved away in 1982 the Jazz Showcase and Park West used to be pretty good for seeing up jazz acts. Are they still around? Are there any new clubs it might be worth looking into?  
 
And Mike we will try to pop in if you have any gigs with Noah in the Fox Valley area while we are there.

We're just booking the next couple of months right now, but as things come in , I'll be sure to post them here.
 
Park West is still going, they have Jeff Beck coming next month. I'm not sure about the Jazz Showcase. I don't get out much currently, hoping the economy improves.

Keith, the local jazz station in Glen Ellyn, WDCB, lists a ton of local Jazz gigs....http://www.wdcb.org (http://www.wdcb.org)
 
I really need to see Mike and Noah too!
