After some discussion in another thread my attention was drawn
to a device which is the IN-2 a balanced input/output module.
At least that is what I think it is.
I was wondering if there was enough interest within the forum of
current series players who would like to investigate a reissue of the IN-2?
Maybe if someone had some more information on it also.
All I could find on the forum was;

I have wanted one of these IN-2 units for a while now . I would LOVE to have an IN-2, Yes that would be so cool ! Thanks for digging up that old thread slawie______
You can count me in ! I might even buy 2 !

I don't want to sound stupid, but I'd like to see a two 5 pin unit to be able to plug in two Alembics so I can go from a 5 string to a 4string

This thread should get you excited! (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=15704) (Make sure you check the link embedded in the thread too!)

Hieronymous,____ That link got me jumping like a little Jack Russell Terrier . Yes, it got me excited !
-
Yes that's what I'm talking about!
Thanks for the link Harry.
Please, the wonderful folks at Alembic, is there an inkling of a chance
to get this back off the ground?
The link in the link shows Olivers device that there is a dual input to the IN-2
and correct me if I am wrong but this also replaces the
DS-5R according to the promo material?
