My Alembics have a new, albeit mysterious, friend. It's a Supro long scale solidbody bass, body shape sort of like a Fender Jaguar with a stubby top horn. Just to make things really strange, it's got a wooden archtop style bridge with some sort of transducer built into it. It's also got a single coil magnetic pickup with a rectangular metal cover-looks like a humbucker, but with no polepieces. I've tried Googling to no avail(the only Supro bass that comes up is the Pocket bass, which this definitely is NOT)--does the description ring a bell with anyone.
