Friday, October 30 @ 6:45PM Grateful Dead Service (http://www.jweekly.com/blog/full/40303/shabbat-for-dead-heads/)
-
That would be in Palo Alto , California @ Congregation Etz Chayim
Sounds like a good time to me .
-
LOL - I thought it was going to be Black Sabbath tunes played Grateful Dead style! Actually, that's kind of what I envision my music as - improvised metal!
-
Harry,
I thought the same thing
-
Perhaps we should re title this thread Shabbat for Deadheads.
-
You know I was going to call it Shabbat but thought that the more common Sabbath would be better...

I never even thought of Black Sabbath and guess that I should have - LOL

Heh...me too on the Black Sabbath in Grateful Dead style. I figured if Hayseed Dixie could Bluegrass a Motorhead tune, why not Jam-band a Black Sabbath Tune?
Still sounds like a good time though
-
Well, glad I wasnt the only one who was thrown off by the actual content of the thread.... I was going to suggest Masters of Reality or Vol. IV
-
How about a nice long medley of 3 songs? Could give a whole new meaning to Ironman triathalon.

Here we go _______Dark Star- ST Stephen- Hard to handle.
But first we have to bring back the Spirit of Pig Pen for Hard to Handle . Perhaps a Para- normal performance for the occasion ?
