That's what I thought, too, Wolf - then watched the one where he plays a tree (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY-ZoVMwGKM&NR=1).  Now I've seen everything.

Theoretically pretty cool, but that tree would be tough to gig.

That experibass is great. Very unorthodox but an interesting piece of music.

A couple of years ago I saw Micky Hart and Zakir Hussein play a couple large Austrailian roots, the tree sounds just as amazing.

Simply brilliant use of recording and editing techniques and raw talent to boot, very impressive. I am gonna try to find more of his stuff to smoke out...i mean space out to;-)!
